Meade takes Glenrochie Invitational

Joe Meade defeated first-round leader Carlson Cox on the second playoff hole to win the Glenrochie Invitational on Sunday at Glenrochie Country Club in Aningdon, Va.
After opening the tournament with a one-over 73 on Saturday, Meade fired a one-under-par 71 to tie Cox, a University of Memphis golfer, at 144 at the end of 36 holes.
Tillinghast Invitational champion and former NCAA Div. 1 champion Chip Spratlin finished third at 146.
